I have been a Mets fan my entire life. My obsession with the team didn’t start until 1996 when I discovered the true beauty of the game.
On opening day that year, I came home from school and was flipping through the channels. I came across Sports Channel and saw one of the greatest things ever. A throw from left field to the cutoff man, the shortstop, to the catcher to nail the runner at home. It was this moment that I was hooked.
Since then, the Mets have made 1 world series, 3 postseasons and made me cry year in and year out.
But being a Mets fan isn’t about winning and losing…it’s about loyalty to your team and always believing…no matter what.
In this blog I will share my thoughts on the Mets, Villanova basketball, and whatever goes through my head.
